GENERAL SURGERY PROGRAM
The Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, Kisumu is a level V Hospital serving as the tertiary referral facility for Kisumu County and its surrounding counties. The hospital was accredited by College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa and the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board to train residents in a five-year fellowship program leading to a Fellowship in General Surgery FCS(ECSA). We are inviting applications for entry into the MCS in GENERAL SURGERY PROGRAM in January 2023 (3 positions open) at the JOOTRH site.
Applicant must have:
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an institution recognized by the MP&D Board.
- Has completed one-year post internship
- Is duly registered by the MP&D Board of Kenya and is retained in the Retention register for
2022
- Has a professional indemnity cover of not less than KES 1M
- Application letter
- Detailed curriculum vitae including contacts of two referees and copies of your academic certificates and MPDB registration and retention licenses
