The Hospital administration endeavors to contribute to the day-to-day operations in order to offer quality healthcare services. The key roles of the department are:
- Financial management- Budgeting, Expenditure Control, Audit Quarries, Financial Regulations, Collection of revenue and Accounting, Banking returns e.t.c
- Personnel Management- Recruitment, Deployment, Promotions, Discipline, Salaries, Allowances, Leave, Duty Rosters, Staff Returns e.t.c.
- Supplies Management- Procurement, procedures, Storage, Issues, Disposals, Boards of survey, documentation, inventory maintenance, Stock returns.
- Transport Management-Procurement and Maintenance of vehicles, Logbooks, Work tickets, Deployment of drivers, Discipline, Fuel Register, Accident reports, boarding of vehicles, e.t.c.
- Institutional Management- Construction and maintenance of all buildings, Staff housing allocation and maintenance, cleanliness of buildings and compounds, refuse disposal e.t.c.
- Office Management- Allocation of Office space, cleanliness, office supplies, safe custody, security of documents, official correspondence, the secrets act.
- Maintenance of Equipment-Procurement, Storage, Usage, Maintenance, Disposal
- Security-Maintenance of security for hospital buildings and equipment, staff and staff quarters, and all government properties within this jurisdiction, Control of thefts, damages, surcharge/disciplinary action, prosecution of culprits.
- Staff Welfare-Welfare including housing, spiritual and material welfare, sports, choir, staff welfare clubs, fund ‘Harambee’, funeral arrangements, e.t.c as well as patients welfare, entertainment(TV/Radio/Dances/Cinemas).
