Pediatrics operates at Obama Hospital and working hours are 24/7 serving both inpatient and outpatient.
The department has a bed capacity of 80 and admits children between 0-12 years.
The department has an exemption towards payment of children between 0-5years.
The department has both a pharmacy and laboratory which operates from 8:00a.m – 4:30p.m Monday to Friday with exception of holidays
The department also has special clinic days for chronic diseases i.e. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The main objective of the department is to be the best unit within the region by offering quality, reduced turnaround time, and improved relationships between patients and staff as well as efficient treatment.
